About the ride
Olde Rope Mill Park sits on the Little River just north of the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta. It's home to the Taylor Randahl Memorial Mountain Bike Trails, three trail areas that add up to about 14 miles, all reachable from the parking lot at the end of the road.
The riding is mostly beginner and intermediate flow, and some trails switch direction by day, so check the signs before you ride. You'll pass ruins of the 1800s rope mill and a train trestle along the river.
Blankets Creek is about 15 minutes away, so it's easy to ride both in one trip.
