About the ride
Fort Yargo has two main loops. The yellow loop circles the lake in about 6.5 miles and is wide and mostly gentle, which makes it one of the best places in the area to learn. The blue loop is roughly 12 miles of rolling singletrack with some technical features you can bypass.
The hills are the rolling Piedmont kind, so the climbs are short and the descents are fast but not scary. After the ride you can swim at the beach, grab a campsite or yurt, or take the connector trail into downtown Winder.
Bike rentals are available at the visitor center if someone in your group needs one.
