About the ride
The RiverWalk runs along the Chattahoochee from the Lake Oliver area in north Columbus south toward the National Infantry Museum. The Uptown section passes restaurants, historic sites, and museums, and you can watch rafters on the urban whitewater course.
South of downtown the path gets quieter, with long stretches along the river and a covered bridge. It's an easy, scenic ride for families and e-bikes.
Woodruff Riverfront Park in Uptown is a good place to start, with food and drinks close by when you're done.

Good to know
- Some stretches are open to the sun. Bring water and sunglasses.
- Don't leave valuables in your car at any trailhead.
- The north end near Lake Oliver can have construction detours.
- Standing Boy and Flat Rock Park are nearby if you want dirt.
