About the ride
Carolina Adventure World sits on 2,600 wooded acres near Lake Wateree. It has trails for ATVs, side-by-sides, and dirt bikes, plus a motocross track, mud bogs, and a banked oval.
With this much trail, it's a weekend destination more than a day trip. The park has RV sites with hookups, tent camping, cabins, and yurts, so you can recharge your bike overnight and ride again the next day.
Once a month, on the full moon, the park hosts a night ride with trails open until midnight.

From Columbia, take I-77 north to exit 46 and turn right on Camp Welfare Rd. The entrance is about 2.5 miles on the right.
Good to know
- Call (803) 482-3534 before you go to check rates and confirm electric dirt bikes are welcome.
- The dirt-bike-only trails have closed at times for logging. Dirt bikes can still ride the other trails.
- No refunds on passes because of weather.
- Book camping or cabins early. They fill up.

Hours: Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm, Saturday 11am to 5pm, closed Sunday. Heading out early on a weekend? Stop by the day before so you have what you need.
