About the ride
Beasley Knob is a network of dirt trails, rock hill climbs, and gravel roads in the Chattahoochee National Forest. The Forest Service recommends it for experienced riders only because of the steep, rocky terrain.
It's open to motorcycles, ATVs, and four-wheel-drive vehicles, so expect to share some trail with bigger machines. The steep climbs are hard on batteries, so keep your first loop short.
Davenport Mountain OHV Trail, a shorter and easier system on Lake Nottely, is nearby if part of your group wants something mellower.

There are two trailheads. The Blue Rock trailhead is off Rosemary Ln (FS 93), about 3.4 miles east of the Blairsville Post Office on US 76.
Good to know
- Recommended for experienced riders only.
- No bolted, studded, or chained tires.
- No riding at night.
- Closed when trails are wet. Call the Blue Ridge Ranger District at (706) 745-6928 to check the status and season.
