We get asked "where can I ride around here?" just about every day, so we put the answers on our website. You'll find them under Where to Ride in the menu at okanaoutdoors.com.
Local Trails and Day Trips
Our trail guide lists 39 bike trails within about 3 hours of Greensboro, closest first. Near home you've got Rock Hawk at Lawrence Shoals Park, Hart Farm in Union Point, the Firefly Trail from Union Point to Woodville, and the trails at Hard Labor Creek State Park. For a day trip, there's the Callaway Gardens Discovery Bike Trail and the Man O' War Trail in Pine Mountain, the Silver Comet, and the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville. Each trail has its own page with the location, what kind of riding to expect, and directions.
Reynolds Lake Oconee Trails
Reynolds has about 21 miles of walking and biking trails across three areas, and each one now has its own map: Main Gate (about 18 miles, the biggest network), Great Waters (about 3 miles), and The Landing Village Trail (2 miles). Since golf carts aren't allowed through the neighborhoods, these are some of the best e-bike rides at the lake.
E-Dirt Bikes
Riding an e-dirt bike? We listed the legal places to ride nearby, from the Town Creek OHV trails just north of Greensboro to Durhamtown Off Road Resort, about 35 minutes away.
Need a Bike First?
Have guests in town? We rent bikes for $85 a day, including drop off and pickup within 5 miles of the store. If your own bike has been sitting in the garage, bring it in for a tune-up before you hit the trail.
Stop by 1101 Parkside Main, Suite 103 in Greensboro. Mon-Fri 10am-5pm, Sat 11am-5pm.
